Stage School: Hosting Basics
You have the Next button. Use it.
Ten minutes in the host's chair with AI contestants and the AI coach as a contestant-slash-mentor. The learner runs the floor: pressing Next on time, keeping intros short, reading scores from the board, and recovering a contestant who deliberately stalls. Pass: Next within 3 seconds of a line's end, nobody left more than 30 seconds without a cue. Required before hosting live.
Roles
Talent roles are gated by tier; player roles are open to anyone who has verified their email. Any role can be covered by an AI understudy if the producer's fill policy allows it.
- CoachAlways AI
Understudy persona: Coach — sits in the co-host chair, gives private notes, steps in only if the floor dies
- Learner (Host)Player · open
You're the host. Read your lines, press Next when a beat is done, keep contestants moving, and read the scores from the board when asked. One contestant will stall; it's your job to rescue the moment.

This format needs at least 1 human in the cast. A producer cannot air it with fewer, whatever the fill policy.
