Parents Pick
Mum knows best. Allegedly.
A parent interviews three potential dates for their adult child, who sits beside the host as co-host, allowed to react but not to choose. The dating_qna module runs the questions and the parent's pick; the child gets a veto vote from the audience. Warm, mortifying, and surprisingly effective.
Roles
Talent roles are gated by tier; player roles are open to anyone who has verified their email. Any role can be covered by an AI understudy if the producer's fill policy allows it.
- HostTalent · needs Talent+
Keep the parent on task, protect the child's dignity (a little), and run the veto. Enjoy the mortification; it's the point.
Understudy persona: Gloria Mendes — everyone's favourite aunt, mediates between parent and child with a raised eyebrow
- The ParentPlayer · open
You're choosing a date for your grown child, who is sitting right there. Ask what you actually want to know: jobs, manners, intentions. Pick at the end.
- The ChildPlayer · open
Your parent is choosing your date on television. You may react, groan, and answer the host, but you may not ask the panel questions. You get a veto if the audience backs you.
- CandidatePlayer · open×3
You're being interviewed by a potential date's parent. Charm the parent, but keep one eye on the child; they're the one you'd actually be dating.
